Neo Pizza + Taphouse opened its third self-pour location in partnership with PourMyBeer, the global market leader in the self-pour beverage industry, to bring the elevated experience of a self-serve beverage wall to the Towson, Maryland, community! The high-tech beverage wall has 34 self-pour taps guests can use to pour 20 craft beers, 2 wines, 2 ciders, 8 housemade craft cocktails, and 2 shooters.
The process is simple! Guests to Neo Pizza present their ID to verify their age and authorize their credit card, linked to their pour card, to unlock the self-pour taps. The PourMyBeer system tracks the guest’s tasting journey, allowing them to pour & pay by the ounce, which encourages sampling and gives guests the freedom to try new beverages they would not normally try without committing to a larger pour. On the other hand, operators, such as Neo Pizza’s Jerry Mazurowski, see higher beverage sales as the customers pour several beverages before committing to a full pour of their favorite.
The PourMyBeer system is particularly impactful in the current staffing crisis when finding & retaining quality employees is difficult, and guest satisfaction and speed of service are more important than ever before.
